They are seeking a GS Program Gov Consultant to manage and administer Global Security governance forums and committees, ensuring governance materials are executive-ready and aligned with enterprise risk management practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Global Security governance forums and committees, including agenda development, material preparation, scheduling, facilitation support, and documentation and followup of decisions and actions
- Ensure governance materials are clear, executive ready, and aligned with enterprise risk management practices
- Tracks actions, decisions, and commitments from governance committees to closure
- Maintain governance charters, operating models, and cadence documentation
- Develops detailed project plans and schedules for program governance initiatives
- Develops best practices, project standards, procedures, and quality objectives, including metrics for assessing progress; uses established project standards, procedures, and quality objectives
- Establishes and maintains a productive working partnership with program sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders
- Provides executive report-outs/presentations and makes suitable recommendations to management, executives and governance teams to enable decision making
