Business Product Management (ShopeePay - Cards)

About The Team

This role is responsible for end-to-end product management of ShopeePay's prepaid card and its features, from conceptualisation through to rollout and post-deployment monitoring. This includes virtual and physical card products, card lifecycle, scheme and processor integrations, card controls, and user experience.

Job Description

  • Drive product roadmap and execution for card issuing – covering application, eKYC onboarding, issuance, card controls, and lifecycle management – aligned with business strategy and BNM regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with regional product teams in Singapore and Shenzhen to evaluate feature requests and produce accurate, comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Work with Local and Regional cross-functional teams (Business Development, Legal, Operations, Payment, Compliance, Risk, Finance) to ensure smooth and timely product delivery
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk, Anti-Fraud, and Operations teams on fraud controls, dispute and chargeback handling, balancing risk and user experience
  • Manage card processor and scheme integrations (API design, testing coordination, post-launch monitoring)
  • Own UAT end-to-end: test planning, execution, defect tracking, and go-live readiness
  • Track and optimise card programme metrics (activation, approval, usage, disputes)
  • Troubleshoot live issues and support BAU, including stakeholder communication and training

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of product management experience in financial services, fintech, or card products - hands-on card issuing experience is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of card issuing and processing fundamentals – four-party model, authorisation and clearing flows, BIN management, card lifecycle, fraud mitigation, and scheme rules
  • Familiar with BNM regulatory requirements relevant to card products – eKYC, e-money licensing, PCI DSS, and consumer data obligations
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders; able to translate scheme or processor requirements into clear BRDs
  • Proven ability to deliver complex, cross-functional features in fast-paced environments
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong ownership mindset
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken); Mandarin is a plus
