Create and refine detection models that consume machine learning outputs and signals to minimize the presence of bad actors in the ecosystem. Code complex and efficient SQL and Spark queries on datasets in the scale of hundreds of millions of rows. Understand the engineering systems that generate signals and propose new signals that leverage them. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to contribute to business ruleset to improve efficacy of rules and their coverage of different abuse segments. Analyze, manipulate, or process large sets of data using statistical software. Create graphs, charts, or other visualizations to convey the results of data analysis using specialized software. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as Anti-Abuse Analyst, Business Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving data analysis or data science.
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as Anti-Abuse Analyst, Business Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving data analysis or data science.
Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience analyzing data to identify gaps to recommend and implement improvements to systems; 3 years of professional experience writing big data queries including SQL, Spark or Amazon Redshift; 3 years of professional experience utilizing data visualization tools including Grafana, Mode or Tableau; 3 years of professional experience creating dashboards, visuals, or reports to share insights; 3 years of professional experience exploring data in search for actionable intelligence; 3 years of professional experience performing data analytics in a python notebook environment, including Databricks, Looker, Snowflake, Pandas, or Jupyter; 3 years of professional experience conceptualizing, creating, and implementing algorithms and models; 1 year of professional experience employing best practices (including team mentorship, anomaly detection techniques, ML model validation, A/B testing, and production deployment).
