In this role you will get to contribute to the sustainability and environmental strategies for the delivery of challenging high-quality infrastructure and masterplan projects.<br><br>What You'll Be Doing:<br>• Be part of multidisciplinary project teams and manage complex projects which require sustainability input and environmental compliance, from conception to completion.<br>• Manage and present to the clients during design workshops and meetings.<br>• Develop sustainability, environmental and waste management strategies tailored for each project’s aspirations and requirements.<br>• Be curious and suggest alternative solutions and innovative ideas for each project’s vision.<br>• Develop technical reports and studies for sustainability certification and environmental documentation as part of project deliverables.<br>• Prepare RFPs to appoint the most suitable sub-consultants for any given project, assess and manage the appointed sub-consultants, and review their S&E deliverables for accuracy and quality.<br>• Mentor, support, overview and review the junior members inputs and deliverables.<br>• Be experienced with the bidding process to win new work.<br>• Expected to work on your own, using your own initiative with support as and when necessary.<br><br>What Required Skills You'll Bring:<br>• Bachelor’s degree or above in architecture, engineering, planning, or related natural sciences field.<br>• Work experience of minimum 7 years in an international engineering /design / project management / sustainability consultancy.<br>• Good understanding on microclimate and outdoor thermal comfort solutions (ability to carry out simulations and calculations a plus).<br>• Estidama PCRS PQP and/or LEED AP and/or BREEAM AP ((additional credentials a plus).<br>• Good knowledge on the latest trends on the sustainability field and finding ways to implement them synergistically.<br>• Experience in coordinating with diverse individuals and teams including client, consultant, contractor, design, and construction members to enable achievement of project sustainability objectives and targets.<br>• Bring a clear understanding of global good sustainability consultancy practices and delivery of multiple projects running concurrently that include bespoke sustainability advice.<br>• Analytical skills, detail oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team, on multiple large-scale projects in parallel.<br>• Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English.<br><br>What Desired Skills You'll Bring:<br>• Master’s / PHD degree in architecture, engineering, planning, or related natural sciences field.<br>• Documented participation in the preparation of a third-party sustainability certification application (e.g., LEED, Mostadam, Envision, Estidama).<br>• Experience on PAS 2080 and Green House Gas emissions calculations.<br>• Outdoor Thermal Comfort principles and software analysis desirable.<br><br>Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.<br><br>We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
