Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, trauma‑informed care to patients in a forensic setting, utilizing evidence‑based practice and technology to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN participates in the nursing process, coordinates with interdisciplinary team members, and documents patient care thoroughly. Shift Details Three 12‑hour shifts. Shift differentials are offered for evenings, nights, and weekends. Essential Functions Assess: Perform comprehensive assessment of physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills, and gather information from interdisciplinary team members. Plan: Use assessment data to collaboratively develop an individualized plan of care, involving patients, families, and the broader team, and incorporate education and referrals as needed. Implement: Direct the care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration; provide or delegate care in accordance with the plan, guidelines, and licensure provisions. Evaluate: Review patient responses, assess achievement of goals, examine clinical outcomes, and adjust the plan of care as necessary.
