Parts Advisor, Millbrae

Description:

  • Manage parts inventory to anticipate business needs and optimize service center operations.
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory control through perpetual and annual inventories.
  • Order inventory and special-order parts for vehicle repairs.
  • Receive parts orders and stock them in designated storage areas or assigned bins.
  • Coordinate parts transfers between Lucid service locations when needed.
  • Prepare parts estimates for customers, insurance companies, and internal fleet vehicles.
  • Track part revision changes and update local inventory accordingly.
  • Maintain a high First Time Fill Rate for the service center parts department.
  • Organize and oversee parts warranty returns in both the system and physically.
  • Interpret automotive terminology to support accurate parts search and ordering.
  • Promote accessories sales according to Lucid guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Service Parts Advisor (back counter).
  • Strong track record of dispatching parts to technicians in a shop environment.
  • Proficiency in parts catalog searches for specific repair needs.
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
  • Ability to work independently and make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Full-time availability, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods.
  • Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.
  • If under 21, must have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years and complete Lucid training upon hire.
  • AA/BS in Automotive Technology or Business Management, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains (preferred).
  • Experience in a startup or other fast-paced environment (preferred).
  • Previous OEM parts training (preferred).
