NICU Registered Nurse - Gridley, CA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare professional is needed to provide advanced nursing care with a focus on neonatal and pediatric populations. This role requires a Registered Nurse with additional clinical and didactic education to perform at an advanced practice level. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical competence in physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment, and health management across diverse age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care and education to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Perform physical and psychosocial assessments and diagnoses within scope.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
  • Lead and motivate nursing staff, delegate responsibilities, and problem-solve clinical challenges.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Graduate of a Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program; new graduates with pediatric and/or NICU experience considered.
  • Registered Nurse licensed by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Nurse Practitioner licensure with CA Board of Registered Nursing.
  • DEA registration or proof of application within 3 months of hire.
  • Current AHA Health Care Provider CPR certification.
  • NRP and PALS recognition within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience with neonatal intubation and emergency umbilical line placement preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is desirable.

Additional Credentials:

  • Nurse Practitioner Furnisher license within 3 months of hire.
  • Credentialing through medical and finance offices as required.
