The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Network Coordinator. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services provide individuals with opportunities to exercise their rights and responsibilities of independent decision-making and engagement in the community. Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by the DDD Office of Licensing Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have a spouse or close family with principal interest in a DDD Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a DDD Qualified Vendor. The primary role of this position is to support Qualified Vendors (QV) with technical assistance (both fiscal and programmatic) and licensing and certification requirements to provide Residential, Day Program, and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS). This position assists QV and Support Coordinators with technical assistance, collaborates with the other state departments and other entities to ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures. Across our many agencies, boards, and commissions, many State employees participate in the State’s Remote Work Program and are able to work remotely in their homes, in offices, and in hoteling spaces. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance. Job Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to ● Recruiting, certification, training and oversight/monitoring of Qualified Vendors. Maintain the Statewide Directory and Distribution list. Oversee and issue to the districts approved qualified vendor Ready to Service announcements. ● Provide technical assistance to Qualified Vendors related to strategies/progress reporting requirements. Review billing practices, employee files and policy of QV as directed by the Network Supervisor. Provide technical assistance as needed to QV for provision of services practices. ● Maintain of the statewide QV efiles on the Network Google drive. Ensure qualified vendors have a current policy manual and PDT (Policy Developmental Tool) on file with the division. Complete QV policy reviews for compliance and conduct their Readiness Review meetings. ● Conduct, oversee and maintain QV EVV After Hours testing. As applicable, request, issue, review and approve qualified vendors CAP’s (Corrective Action Plan’s) for After-Hours non-compliance. ● Maintain and complete unit tracking of service needs associated with Network Operations. Identify trends that qualified vendors may need technical assistance to correct. Work with the Customer Service Center (CSC) to resolve grievances, provide technical assistance to the agency according to the report and ensure information is relayed to CSC as applicable. ● Work with other internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance of provision of services for division members. Advise Network Supervisor of unusual or extreme problems recognized while monitoring and propose solutions. Involved in Unusual Incident Report (UIR) investigations and reports, providing information as assigned. Follow-up on incidents as part of monitoring and reporting. Attends meetings and training as directed by the Network Supervisor. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) Knowledge in ● Working knowledge of people with developmental disabilities. ● Community resources. ● Basic principles and practices of Case Management. ● Google Suite Skills In ● Organizational skills and the ability to remain flexible as priorities change. ● Interpersonal relations as applied to contacts with clients and representatives of other governmental and community. ● Organization and the public. ● Research rules, laws, policies and procedures and directives, monitoring and evaluating services. Selective Preference(s) The ideal candidate for this position will have ● At least (1) year providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Pre-Employment Requirements ● Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver's license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver's license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to Driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operated a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.)
