Role Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Impact, the Manager, Measurement and Evaluation leads the day-to-day design, management, and execution of program evaluation and data analysis initiatives. Bridging technical data operations and high-level strategy, this role designs survey instruments, oversees evaluation workflows, conducts quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and creates actionable data visualizations and reports for both internal teams and district partners.

What Will You Do

  • Measurement and Evaluation:
    • Execute the end-to-end evaluation plans for assigned programs, including logic model alignment, survey development, and data collection protocols.
    • Manage qualitative and quantitative data collection related to assigned programs.
    • Conduct intermediate to advanced quantitative and qualitative data analysis (descriptive/inferential statistics, survey coding) to evaluate PK-12 educator and student outcomes.
    • Establish and enforce rigorous data quality assurance (QA) protocols across all datasets, dashboards, and client deliverables prior to release.
  • Project & Data Management:
    • Manage multi-phase data collection projects across internal departments and external school district partners, ensuring timelines and data quality standards are met.
    • Assist with documentation, data-use agreements, and secure transfer of administrative datasets required for district data sharing.
    • Standardize impact measurement tools, automated workflows, and relational database structures in collaboration with technology staff.
  • Consultation and Communication:
    • Translate complex evaluation findings into clear, engaging data stories, dashboards, slide decks, and executive summaries for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Consult directly with internal program teams to help interpret evaluation data and inform continuous program improvement.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training resources to build organizational data fluency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Education, Evaluation, Social Sciences, or Data Analytics
  • 4+ years of professional experience in program evaluation or educational research
  • Intermediate statistical skills (descriptive/inferential statistics, dataset linking)
  • Proficiency with survey and analysis software (e.g., Qualtrics, QuestionPro, SAS, R, or Python)
  • Proven skill in constructing interactive data displays and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, Excel)
  • Familiarity with PK-12 education data structures (e.g., teacher retention metrics, student assessment scores, school demographic data)
  • Strong organizational skills to manage overlapping project timelines and collaborate effectively with district administrators and internal project leads
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must Be Able To

  • TRAVEL: Minimum travel (10%-30%) - To include: semi-annual department retreats, the org-wide annual fall retreat, internal learning convenings, and at least one conference.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment
  • Limited physical effort is required
