<strong>Job Description</strong><br><br>As Director of Business Development - Facilities, you will have an opportunity to lead new business pursuits with Higher Education prospect clients, and work closely with our Sales and the Facilities Leadership Teams in developing overall sales strategies within Aramark's Facilities Service offerings. These include custodial, grounds and landscaping, and operations and maintenance services. <br><br><strong>Successful Sales Leaders in this role will have the opportunity to:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Drive sales process leadership from prospecting contact through strategy, proposal, presentation and successful closure of Integrated Facilities Services project and annuity-based agreements within a defined territory.</li><li>Will be responsible for creating and developing relationships with/selling to Higher Education prospects/clients.</li><li>Aggressively research, identify, qualify, and target potential clients and develop access strategies to client introductions.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with key prospect/client personas while understanding and communicating prospective customers' campus culture.</li><li>Exercise creativity and judgment in developing and evaluating sales and marketing strategies in selling Facilities Services.</li><li>Develop and lead strategic processes with regard to: Competitive Environment, Account Sales Strategy and Development Strategy.</li><li>Identify needs and develop customer specific solutions for those needs.</li><li>Utilize resources from across Aramark in order to design and deliver customer desired outcomes.</li><li>Influence and develop team members without formal authority.</li><li>Develop relationships with intermediaries to build pipeline of opportunities and awareness of capabilities.</li><li>Represent Aramark Facilities Services in the marketplace at various industry organizations and events.</li><li>Build relationships personally with prospective customers.</li><li>Provide appropriate market & competitive information.</li></ul><br>At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.<br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><ul><li>BA/BS is required for this position. MBA favorable.</li><li>Ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of solution-based selling experience.</li><li>Knowledge of CRM systems - preferably Salesforce.</li><li>Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications is required.</li><li>Effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority.</li><li>Position requires flexibility to travel 50-70%, including overnight.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills, presentation skills, and computer skills, including proposal development</li><li>Demonstrates a solid understanding of custodial and maintenance services and applies it to make mutually beneficial business decisions in a mature service industry.</li><li>Knowledge of Higher Education sales highly preferred.</li><li>Must have a genuine desire and ability to discover the changing needs of clients and respond accordingly with solutions that target those needs.</li><li>True understanding of Strategic Consultative Selling.</li><li>Successfully building alliances and influencing key decision makers (of all levels).</li><li>Strategic sales planning and methodologies.</li><li>Competitive drive and determination with focus on results orientation.</li><li>Researching and obtaining market awareness of industry and client.</li><li>Financial and technical acumen in understanding needs and developing proposals and responding to RFP's.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Developing and executing sales processes through indirect/direct influence.</li></ul><ul><li>#LI-Remote</li></ul><br><br><strong>Benefits</strong><br><br><strong>COMPENSATION: </strong>The salary range for this position is <strong>$130,000 </strong>to <strong>$160,000</strong>. This position is also bonus, commission and equity eligible.
