Develop policies and procedures to promote compliance with healthcare laws and ethical standards. Provide guidance and counsel to various departments within the organization on healthcare compliance matters. Review and interpret contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to healthcare compliance. Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify any potential compliance issues and make recommendations for corrective action. Stay updated on changes in healthcare laws and regulations and communicate any potential impact to the organization. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement training programs on healthcare compliance for employees. Support the organization in responding to any external audits or inquiries related to healthcare compliance. Monitor and track compliance metrics and report to senior management on the organization's compliance status. Advise on ethical considerations and potential conflicts of interest in healthcare operations. Work closely with external legal counsel and government agencies on healthcare compliance matters. Maintain a strong understanding of Kaiser Permanente's policies, procedures, and values to ensure alignment with legal and ethical standards. Communicate and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization. Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare compliance and provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
