Team Lead

Position Title: Team Lead (Pick/Pack)

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Position Summary:

The Team Lead is responsible for maintaining order and ensuring all employees stay on task during the shift. You will be responsible for cleaning, turning off lights, setting the alarm, and ensuring all access points are closed and locked when closing. During the absence of the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the warehouse operations and be the main point of contact for any issues that arise. You will be responsible for maintaining safe work conditions and reporting any unsafe hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Pick / Pack

  1. Pick as needed and oversee all other pickers ensuring they are on task.

  2. Pack as needed and oversee all other packers ensuring they are on task.

  3. Troubleshoot and fix errors at packout.

B. Session Monitoring:

Review Sessions: Review sessions with warehouse manager prior to shift and communicate throughout the shift when sessions are running low.

Performance: The warehouse manager will set a goal each day for number of orders that need to be completed. Your job is to set the pace and ensure the goal is met.

Late Shipments: The warehouse manager will assign late orders to you that need to be fixed. You will be responsible for completing these each night.

C. Closing

  1. Ensure all doors are shut and locked. Even doors that are not commonly used.

  2. Turn off all lights.

  3. Turn down the thermostat to 60 degrees. (if applicable)

  4. Set the alarm.

D. Schedule

Saturday-Tuesday 6am-4pm 4x10

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
