Job Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be expected to perform a variety of transcription-related duties, including:

  • Listen to audio recordings provided and transcribe them to written text.
  • Produce accurate, easy-to-read, and well-formatted transcripts.
  • Check the final paper for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and typographical errors.
  • Completion of all assigned projects in a timely fashion.
  • Capable of multitasking and managing work.
  • Communicate with supervisors on project updates or clarifications as needed.
  • Use transcription software and associated tools as directed in training.
  • Manage audio files and documents in accordance with company confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Make sure the quality is the same for all completed transcripts.

Qualifications Required:

The applicant should have the following skills/qualifications:

  • Good written English, with correct grammar and punctuation.
  • Must have a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
  • Good listening skills and eye for details.
