Part-time Community Services Leader II and III - Great Park and City Side Athletic Operations

The City of Irvine is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-time Community Services Leader II or III for our Great Park and City Side Athletic Operations. Lead and coordinate athletic programs and events at the Great Park and City Side facilities. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and variety of athletic programs and services offered. Collaborate with other city departments, community organizations, and volunteers to ensure successful implementation of programs and events. Manage and supervise a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. Conduct program evaluations and gather feedback to continuously improve and meet community needs. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on program participation, revenue, and expenses. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and protocols for all programs and events. Assist with budget planning and resource allocation for the department. Develop and maintain positive relationships with program participants, parents, and community members. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, participants, and the general public. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to enhance program offerings. Represent the City of Irvine and its values in a professional and positive manner at all times. Uphold the mission and vision of the City of Irvine and the Community Services department.
