About the position

Responsibilities

  • Greets visitors to the spa in a prompt, courteous manner.
  • Administers client health history and release form to all new clients.
  • Discusses client needs, expectations, and past experience with receiving skin care services.
  • Provides educated explanation of procedures to be performed on the client.
  • Administers various skin treatments including facials, waxing, hydro pack, exfoliating, massage, and treatments.
  • Applies cosmetics.
  • Offers suggestions for overall health and general maintenance of the results received from the visit.
  • Maintains current knowledge of state-of-the-art aesthetics procedures and the ability to perform these procedures.
  • Answers incoming phone calls promptly and courteously when scheduled and during the absence of the receptionist.
  • Maintains a professional service-oriented demeanor.
  • Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Performs chemical peels, micro-needling, as well as pedicures and manicures.
  • Attends staff meetings.

Requirements

  • Certificate from college, technical school, or accredited facility; and three to six months related experience and/or training.
  • Current State Esthetician license and other creditable certificates.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job.
